Cacao has been cultivated in the Philippines since the 17th century when Spanish mariner Pedro Bravo de Lagunas planted the crop in San Jose, Batangas.  Since then, cacao growing flourished in the different parts of the country.  The San Isidro cooperative project has been an active contributor to the success and growth of the quality of life of its members.  Trinitario 71% San Isidro Davao Region
