Our Dominican cocoa comes from Medina, the province of San Cristobal, 40 km northwest of the capital Santa Domingo. High-quality organic and fair trade cocoa brought from a cooperative composed of more than 1300 affiliated families.  The type of beans are Hispaniola and Sanchez cocoa from Criollo and Trinitario varieties.
